Flordis Femular Forte Tab 90
Femular® (Ze 450) is a natural medicine that is clinically proven to relieve a wide range of menopausal symptoms.1-3 It is manufactured in Switzerland by Zeller AG, a herbal medicine company with over 130 years of experience in the research and production of natural medicines. Now Femular is also available as an EXTRA STRENGTH formulation, Femular FORTE that is suitable for those suffering from moderate to severe menopausal symptoms.
What is Femular used for?
Femular and Femular Forte contain a specific extract of Actaea racemosa (Ze 450) that has been shown to assist in the symptomatic relief of a wide range of menopausal symptoms.
Menopausal symptoms can include:

* Sweating
* Sleep disturbances
* Nervousness, irritability
* Dizziness
* Lack of concentration
* Joint pain
* Headache
Safety & efficacy
Clinical trials have demonstrated that women using Femular have a significant reduction in menopausal symptoms. Some treatments used for menopausal symptoms may cause health concerns due to their oestrogenic action. Femular does not exert a direct oestrogenic effect.4 Femular is very well tolerated, with no report of serious adverse effects and no association with liver problems.5
Femular's unique formulation
Femular is an extract of Actaea racemosa that has been clinically proven, it is the exact product used in clinical trials. This is very important for natural medicines as there can be great variance between products, even if they appear to use the same active ingredients, due to the plant that is used, growing methods, harvesting processes and manufacturing methods. The outcomes of clinical studies for natural medicines may therefore only apply to the exact product that has been tested. As a result, other Actaea racemosa extracts or products cannot be expected to deliver the same results that Femular has demonstrated in the research.
Femular has shown a dose dependent effect. This means if you are suffering from moderate to severe symptoms then extra strength Femular Forte** may be more suitable. Femular Forte contains the same Actaea racemosa extract as Femular only twice the amount in 1 tablet.
**1 tablet of Femular Forte is equivalent to 2 tablets of Femular.
Directions & dosage
Once daily at first sign of menopausal symptoms.
For mild symptoms: Femular 1 tablet daily.
For moderate to severe symptoms: Femular Forte 1 tablet daily or 2 tablets of Femular.
Improvement in symptoms after 1 month with a significant reduction in symptom severity after 3 months and continuing for a further 6 months.
Continue throughout the menopausal transition.

What is the difference between Femular and Femular Forte?
Femular Forte also contains Actaea racemosa the same as in Femular. 1 tablet of Femular Forte is equivalent to 2 tablets of Femular. This means 1 tablet of Femular Forte contains 85.5 mg of Ze 450 which is twice the amount of Ze 450 that is in Femular.
Femular Forte is more suitable for those who have moderate to severe menopausal symptoms. Femular Forte is available as a packet of 90 tablets. Femular contains 30 tablets.
