Heating up the pack (as per instruction on the product) may assist with:

Cooling the gel pack (as per instruction on the product packaging) may assist with:

• Pain relief - applying cold will numb the painful area and reduce inflammation. 
• Reducing swelling - a cold press may reduce blood flow and stop bleeding.
• Easing muscle spasm - cold therapy aids in muscle relaxation and recovery after an injury.
