Swallow one tablet daily, or as directed by your doctor.1 Ferro-grad C® can be taken with or without food. 1,4
Ferro-grad C® is usually taken for three to six months, but your doctor might advise a different treatment duration.1,5 It can take time to replenish your iron levels, so it’s important to complete the course of treatment prescribed by your doctor.2
It’s best to take Ferro-grad C tablets on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after food; however, gastrointestinal upset may be reduced by taking it at night or with a meal. 4,11 Tea, coffee, calcium, some other foods and some medicines can reduce the amount of iron your body absorbs from food, so it’s best to cut back on your intake of these 4,12. Especially close to mealtimes.
Even if your symptoms improve after a few weeks, do not stop taking Ferro-grad C® without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first.5
