Mute is a nasal breathing device designed to increase airflow through the nose during sleep, by gently opening the airways. Improved nasal breathing is a key factor to better sleep and reduced snoring. The Mute Trial pack is the most accurate method of customers working out which size fits the best in the comfort of their own home. However, we also have the sizing guide for those who would prefer purchasing the one size, e.g. The Small 3 Pack. Mute is a great place to start to work out if your nose is contributing to your snoring or sleep disturbances. Contributing factors to why people may snore when they sleep are - Night time congestion or - Nasal obstruction caused by narrow airways, scar tissue or a deviated septum. - When people have a cold as Mute helps you breathe or - Sleeping with your mouth open, usually waking up with a dry mouth. Mute is reusable up to 10 times, thus one packet of Mute is a 30 night supply and costs approximately $1 a day for the customer.
How to use
Mute is designed to improve nasal breathing during sleep. Mute should only be worn inside the nose. You should choose the size that is right for you, either by purchasing the trial pack containing one of each size, or by using the Mute sizing guide. After initially inserting Mute, you will have the correct size, if mute feels comfortable and you forget it is there after a short period of time. Mute is fitted correctly if the connecting bridge, the only visible part outside the nose, is spanning across the top of your nostrils. If not, gently push the bridge of the nasal device up towards to the tip of your nose. This will ensure Mute is sitting correctly inside your nose. Mute is reuseable up to 10 times. Always follow the instructions inside the pack particularly on how to care for Mute. Mute is suitable for use by people over the age of 12 and not to be used in contact sports or water sports and swimming.
