Directions

• Refer to the instruction booklet for diagrams and complete instructions.
• Remove the thermometer protective cover and attach a new Braun lens filter.
• Fit the probe snug into the ear canal, then push and release the Start button.
• Listen for the confirmation beep, then read the temperature.
• Always use a clean, undamaged lens filter for each measurement and take readings in the same ear where possible.

• The ear should be free of excess wax build-up before use.
• If ear drops or other medications have been placed in the ear canal, use the untreated ear.
