General Information

Hydralyte Strawberry Kiwi Electrolyte Liquid helps replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and excess alcohol consumption.

Dehydration due to:

- Vigorous exercise.

- Heat.

- Strenuous activity.

- Vomiting or diarrhoea.

- Excess alcohol consumption.

- Travel.

- Heat & excessive exercise at work.

When to start taking Hydralyte.

Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting and diarrhoea. Hydralyte may also be taken to help manage dehydration caused by heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, excess alcohol consumption, or due to a hot or dry environment.

Signs of mild dehydration.

Sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, dark yellow urine.

Suitable for use during pregnancy.

Suitable For: 0 months and over. Paediatric use, During pregnancy.

Warnings

Product Warnings: Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than:
- 6 hours in infants under 6 months.
- 12 hours in children 6 months - 3 years.
- 24 hours in children aged 3 - 6 years.
- 48 hours in children over 6 years & adults.

Be aware that Dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhoea can be dangerous in babies and children under 5 years old and in elderly people.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Sodium Chloride 2.5mg/mL, Potassium Citrate (Monohydrate) 2.2mg/mL, Citric Acid Monohydrate 4.8mg/mL, Glucose (Monohydrate) 16 mg/mL.

Directions

Do not dilute. Sip slowly.

Age in years: 1-3 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90 mins, Max. dosage per day: 1400mL.
Age in years: 3-6 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 60 mins, Max. dosage per day: 2000mL.
Age in years: 6-12 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 30 mins, Max. dosage per day: 2600mL.
Age in years: 12- Adult, Recommended dosage: 200mL every 30 mins, Max. dosage per day: 4000mL.
