General Information

Hydralyte Strawberry Kiwi Effervescent Electrolyte Tablets help replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and excess alcohol consumption.

When to start taking Hydralyte.

Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting and diarrhoea. Hydralyte may also be taken to help manage dehydration caused by heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, excess alcohol consumption, or due to a hot or dry environment.

Signs of mild dehydration.

Sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, dark yellow urine.

Gluten free.

Dehydration due to:

- Heat.

- Vomiting or diarrhoea.

- Travel.

- Vigorous exercise.

- Strenuous activity.

- Excess alcohol consumption.

- Heat & excessive exercise at work.

Product Warnings: Be aware that Dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhoea can be dangerous in babies and children under 5 years old and in elderly people.

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than:
- 6 hrs in infants under 6 mths.
- 12 hrs in children under 3 yrs.
- 24 hrs in children aged 3 - 6 yrs.
- 48 hrs in children over 6 yrs & adults.

If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medicines - consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Quantity of Sodium per maximum daily adult dose is 5520mg.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if cap seal is broken.

Active Ingredients: Sodium Chloride 87.5mg, Potassium Chloride 149mg, Sodium Bicarbonate 378mg, Citric Acid Anhydrous 672mg, Glucose Anhydrous 1.62g.

Contains: 0.78mg/mL Potassium, 1.38 mg/mL Sodium. Sugars, Natural Colour, Natural Flavour, Sucralose.

Directions

1. Remove 2 tablets from tube and replace the cap tightly. Dissolve in 200mL of fresh, cold drinking water (2-3 minutes). For babies under 6 months use freshly boiled and cooled water. 2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist. 3 Discard unused solution after 2 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated. 4 Avoid mixing Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft or sports drinks as these can interfere with the rehydration process. 5. Always dissolve in water. Never place tablet directly into mouth. 2 tablets = 200mL.
